Neighborhood Renaissance strives to ensure that every person who obtains a home through our agency has the financial tools to succeed, whether they rent or own. We recognize that positive financial behaviors like establishing a bank account, increasing savings, using credit wisely, managing debt and cash flow can lead to a better quality of life. In order to help create opportunities for residents of under-served communities to reach their full potential, we adopted a comprehensive approach that includes:
- Quarterly financial literacy training workshops
- Individualized credit and budget counseling
- Financial goal setting and coaching
- Homebuyer education
- Mortgage financing assistance
- Linkage to matched savings and community programs
- Post-purchase follow-up
