Ribbon Cutting Coleman Park

May 20, 2026, we celebrated the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Coleman Park Renaissance — a milestone that represents far more than the completion of new buildings.

Before this project was designed, Neighborhood Renaissance spent years listening to residents, community leaders, and neighbors to better understand the history, concerns, and identity of Coleman Park.

Because redevelopment without preservation can erase the very stories that made a neighborhood meaningful in the first place.

Coleman Park carries deep historical and cultural significance for West Palm Beach — a community shaped by Black entrepreneurship, music, resilience, and generations of local history. Projects like this remind us that development is not only about construction. It’s about reinvestment without erasure. Growth without forgetting.

Seeing residents, city leaders, partners, lenders, and community members gathered together yesterday was incredibly meaningful — especially knowing that behind every permit, inspection, utility coordination, and construction milestone, there are families and histories connected to this place.

Proud to be part of a project built with purpose, community, and respect for the story that was already here.

Housing Heroes Award      Housing Heroes NRI teamNeighborhood Renaissance is proud to be recognized at the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County’s 2026 annual event as the Non-Profit Developer Housing Hero for our ongoing community-driven revitalization in Coleman Park. Through active resident engagement, our $21.5 million mixed-use project brings 43 truly affordable homes across six two- and three-story buildings, helping residents stay rooted despite rising housing costs and neighborhood changes. Over the past three decades, we’ve invested more than $81 million into vulnerable neighborhoods, built 353 homes, and helped over 255 families and individuals achieve homeownership. Behind these numbers are real stories—a family finding stability, a senior keeping their home, and a community reclaiming its pride.
